Arman Gouniaei: a portfolio that reads like a printed booklet

The problem
What Arman Gouniaei needed
A building designer needed a portfolio that felt like his printed work.
The approach
Validate, build, launch, grow
The same four stages we use on every product, applied to this one. How we work.
- 01
Validate
Make sure the opportunity is worth pursuing.
Every line of content was transcribed from Arman's own portfolio deck. Because the site is used for job applications, nothing was invented: where a fact was missing it was left out rather than filled with plausible copy. The structure follows the seven categories of his portfolio.
- 02
Build
Turn the validated concept into a working product.
A Next.js site with page-flip project booklets, an intro overlay, optional ambient sound and project pages driven by MDX, so new work is a file rather than a rebuild. His own AG mark and BDAA accreditation badge anchor the identity.
- 03
Launch
Take the product to market.
Deployed on Vercel at armangouniaei.com, with every push going live.
- 04
Grow
Use real data to improve what comes next.
Five rounds of Arman's feedback were folded in after the first release: a lighter architectural rebrand, his real CV data, image-led categories and booklet viewers for his educational work.
